OUR HISTORY
Hotel Castilla Real was founded on September 8, 1999, in the city of Pereira, Colombia. From the very conception of the project, the goal was to create a brand capable of conveying the concepts of distinction, exclusivity, and elegance within a welcoming atmosphere. It was then that the partners chose a name that, beyond being sonorous, represented everything they had discovered during one of their trips to the Castile region of Spain, clearly identifying its royalty.
Thus, “Castilla Real” emerged as the best option to position the new hotel. It was designed so that executives visiting the city would no longer have to settle for the traditional tourism model, which, despite offering countless amenities, did not meet their specific needs for exclusivity, discretion, and efficiency.

¿What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 1:00 p.m.
Check-out is until 12:00 p.m.
¿Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?
Yes, both options can be requested in advance and are subject to availability. Please note that late check-out may incur an additional charge.
¿What are the restaurant hours?
Our restaurant is open for breakfast Monday to Sunday from 6:20 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Dinner service: Monday to Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
¿Does the hotel offer parking?
Yes, the hotel offers complimentary parking for our guests.
¿How far is the hotel from the airport?
The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from the airport without traffic.
¿What are the cancellation and modification policies?
No Show (failure to arrive for the reservation): Any cancellation must be notified at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the No Show charge, which corresponds to the value of the first night of the reservation.
IMPORTANT: During high season, cancellations must be made at least one month in advance to avoid charges for the reserved nights. If a guest does not arrive with a guaranteed reservation, the total value of the reserved nights will be charged.
High Season: December, January, Easter Week, June, July, August, October school holiday week, congress events, holidays, and long weekends.
Are minors allowed to stay at the hotel?
Yes, minors are welcome at the hotel but must be accompanied by their parents and present a birth certificate.
If the minor is traveling without their parents, they must present a notarized authorization letter from their parents allowing them to travel with the accompanying adult.
In accordance with Colombian laws 1098 of 2006, 1336 of 2009, 599 of 2000, and 1329 of 2009, guests traveling with minors must present the required documentation at the time of check-in.
¿Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
According to Resolution 1956 of March 30, 2008, issued by the Ministry of Social Protection, smoking is strictly prohibited in hotel rooms.
Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $200,000 COP cleaning fee, which will be charged to the guest’s account for the cleaning and deodorizing of the room.
